These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Blend mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by The Blend ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 21 years of age to use The Blend. The Service involves alcohol-related content and is intended solely for adults of legal drinking age. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 21 or older and legally permitted to consume alcohol in your jurisdiction.

Your Account

To access certain features you will need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at contact@theblendwhiskey.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person or use another person's account without permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service — including bottle entries, tasting notes, infinity bottle logs, and palate preferences ("Your Content"). By submitting content, you grant The Blend a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

If you choose to publish a blend recipe to the community, you grant other users of the Service the right to view that recipe. You control what you share publicly.

You are responsible for Your Content. You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, unlawful, or that infringes the rights of any third party.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the security or integrity of the Service
• Impersonate another person or create a false identity

AI Features

The Blend includes an AI Advisor that provides whiskey-related recommendations, blending suggestions, food pairings, and tasting information. These outputs are for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice of any kind. You use AI-generated suggestions at your own discretion and risk. We make no representations about the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

Subscriptions and Payments

The Blend offers a free tier and a premium subscription. Premium subscriptions are billed through Apple's in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. All purchases are final unless otherwise required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple Account settings.

Affiliate Links

The Service may display links to third-party retailers where you can purchase whiskey products. We may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. We are not responsible for the products, pricing, availability, or practices of third-party retailers.

Intellectual Property

The Blend name, logo, app design, and all associated content created by Unweightd LLC are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, copy, or reproduce any of our intellectual property without our written permission.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Blend and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at contact@theblendwhiskey.com.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email.
